What is "tenokuni".
It is Japanese word meaning "Country of Hand". It was made-up by Soetsu Yanagi, the art critic in 19th century, and founder of Mingei (hand-crafted art of ordinary people) movement. He used this word to explain unique and outstanding Japanese craftsmanship of artisans.
We found this word as the best expression for the "Japan Vintage" gear.
